Can’t move a document into a different folder by changing the category of this document, because this is a signed document. For example, to move the folder named ‘Employee Contract’ to the folder named ‘Employee’, there are only three options: ‘Delete’, ‘View Signature’, or ‘Download’. However, if I download the contract, the employee’s signature will be lost. We have a long list of documents that need to be categorized into six folders, so I need to move these folders and delete some.

Reading the comments, I echo all the frustration. I would imagine like any other business, our PHR has evolved and the current team are keen to structure things differently. The categorisation of document has been a free for all in the past with our HR team in 10 different offices doing things in different ways. We now need to have a mass tidy up. The inability to move signed documents is problematic. I was advised that the only way to move these items is to delete them and upload them again. For over 600 staff this is not feasible.
I agree with Sarah King who requested that we are able to do this as a bulk action
Also we would like to be able control where logbook items are categorised.
eg. Driving licenses - we would like these to be in a folder called 07 Compliance
Sick notes need to be in a folder called 04 Attendance
and so on.
I have the same issue and it's driving me mad! I am trying to streamline our folders and get consistency across the company and can't because the system won't allow it.
Yes, option to move documents into different folders would be useful - especially if we can do it as a bulk action. HR teams all over may want to tidy up their document categories so this would be useful.
Same and added another comment. Annoying.
I am experiencing the same problem!
