When an employees planner timesheet falls outside of an employees work pattern, an exception/alert to be raised on the employees planner. Currently it is a manual process to investigate each difference between an employee timesheet and work pattern if their timesheet hours do not match what is expected. It does flag an alert if they fail to register a 'Time In' or Time Out', but not if they are early or late. It would also be a huge benefit for managers to receive email notifications for timesheets that are outside of a work pattern if possible.
Describe the Challenge | This would be a huge benefit to all customers that use timesheets against work patterns. For an alert to appear in planner for such exceptions, it would be possible to deal with incorrect timesheets far more efficiently. |
It seems that many customers see this as a very important feature to add to the system. It's been active for 10 months now. Any sign of this being progressed further?
Excellent idea - we also have various timesheet patterns that seem to fall out of the scope of what People HR can handle, and there is no way of knowing any exceptions, or even late notifications, since only the raw data seems to be captured to timesheets from clocking terminals, that then require manual changes. I've proposed the idea of allowing bulk uploads of employee data here which might alleviate some of these issues for management many staff: https://peoplehr.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APHR-I-353
Great to see you have raised it previously, Victoria. We also had this functionality in a previous system and it seems to be the only key thing missing in People HR.
Voted for this, I have also raised this here: https://peoplehr.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APHR-I-137
Can the votes/ideas be combined in anyway?
