We have managers that are responsible for many staff on our shop floor that are paid on a weekly basis. Those staff have various work patterns and grace periods which are not accounted for on the system, as when users clock in/out People HR only captures the raw data in timesheets and doesn't account for any details/reasons/grace periods.
This means that each employee needs to have their timesheet amended on a weekly basis by hand which is laborious and holds up our Payroll. Please can you allow the facility to do bulk uploads of employee timesheet data.
This should be something critical for time and attendance within the system and employee management. It would be an immense time saver, and ensure accurate reporting.
| Describe the Challenge | Bulk update / uploads of employee timesheets. Currently managers have to go into the employee planner section on an individual basis to make amendments to timesheets on a weekly basis as the system doesn't take into account grace periods and errors when clocking in/out. This means the data remains inaccurate until this is verified and payroll is held up. Managers here could be responsible for changing 30+ staff, and doing this on an individual basis on the website is very long and wastes time. Our old time and attendance system allowed up to make changes on a weekly basis per employee at the very least. This is a critical function for us. |
