API to track holiday requests and cancellations

We’re currently working on integrating additional absence types and improving our leave tracking process via your API, and we’d appreciate your guidance please. Would it be possible for us to arrange a call with you to discuss further or if you can share an email we can communicate via as will be easier, as I would like to loop in others, such as our contact at Paprika. Please see below from Paprika. 'PeopleHR’s ‘Get Holiday Detail’ API call and that does not tell us when an existing request is cancelled. When users cancel it and create a new one on the new dates the ID of the request is different so Paprika just thinks it is a whole new request. Effectively every hour we ask for the requests within a date range which is a month prior and 12 months forwards (so today it will request between 6th October 2025 and 6th November 2026) and PeopleHR sends us the requested and approved requests. If it sent us the cancelled requests it would be a lot easier.



It may be worth asking them if they do have an API call that details the cancelled requests as then we could integrate that into the API, from what I can see on their available API documentation online it isn’t clear that they do.'
