Ripples are unable to trigger for leavers after their final day of employment, but Tasks can be set while going through the leaver wizard for a specified number of days after their leaving date. Currently, the maximum number of days you can set is 999, but some retention periods can go over 2,000 days. If the number of days you can set could be increased to 5,000, then this would allow retention periods to be inbuilt into the leaver process, reducing admin processes.
| Describe the Challenge | Currently we are having to do retention periods by using a query to pull leaving dates, then utilising an external script to populate retention periods and issue notifications to the Admin team. This can automate the process and keeps everything within PeopleHR. |
