Updating Ripples - Made Simple

Building on my previous suggestion to integrate ripples more effectively within the interactive employee dashboard, I propose introducing multiple, intuitive ways for users to access and update ripples.

Currently, the only method to update a ripple is by clicking a small, non-intuitive icon located at the bottom of the dashboard. This icon—depicting a person surrounded by four arrows—lacks any visual association with ripples and provides no explanatory context. As a result, it is unclear to employees that this is the mechanism for updating a ripple.

A secondary access point exists via the "Me" tab followed by "Ripples," but this path does not allow users to edit or save ripple changes. This inconsistency can lead to significant user confusion, even among those familiar with the system.

To improve usability and engagement, employees should be able to edit ripples directly from any screen where they can view them. The system must prioritise clarity and ease of use—otherwise, adoption and ongoing usage are likely to suffer.
