Employee perspective:
Show active ripples where they can be edited and completed first thing without the need to navigate various menus.
Show mandatory logbooks that must be completed.
Show links to unsigned/unviewed documents so an unsigned/unviewed document is never missed.
Show current and remaining leave days, with a quick overview of when holidays have been booked in a compact format, with an option to book a holiday directly from the home screen.
Overall be much more interactive to allow for clicks and customisation.
Manager perspective:
Live reporting features, such as occasions of absence for all subordinates, perhaps also number of days sick, or other absence types.
Upcoming holidays for subordinates to never miss a planned absence.
| Describe the Challenge | The onboarding procedure with PeopleHR is entirely unattractive, clunky, and difficult to manoeuvre around. The majority of our employees are not tech savvy, therefore, a high proportion of my time is taken up by explaining the various ways to access a ripple etc. If I can say, log in and it is right in front of you, that would be much easier. A states activity is incomplete, therefore, the system should be able to detect this and highlight this for the attention of the user as simple as possible. The aim should be to reduce the number of clicks as absolutely possible. |
