The Bradford Factor functionality does not allow for two different reasons for triggering review, I would like it to and for these triggers to then feed into the daily admin recap email to monitor.
For example, these are the review points within my sickness policy:
The review points are calculated on a rolling year (12 months), from the first day of the current absence. The Attendance Review Points are:
• 3 separate occasions of absence; and/or
• 12 working days of absence for full time employees – this is pro-rated for part time employees – minimum of 3 days, but also managed in a way that is reasonable and fair relative to the patterns of work and the full-time equivalent review points.
So, for example, under my policy a trigger needs to be hit if someone has 12 or more days of absence - which could be one single occasion. The Bradford Factor score would be as low as 12 to trigger here (1x1x12). But I cannot use this low setting without then bringing into scope occasions that shouldn't trigger a review point - for example someone with 11 days over 2 occasions shouldn't hit a trigger, but their Bradford factor score would be higher at 44 (2x2x11).
Describe the Challenge | I would like a way I can set up triggers for these two types of review points for sickness absence review levels. So they feedback in the daily admin email and I don't have to run a report and manually check. I cannot rely on the current Bradford Factor triggers to pick up everything. |
