We have people that leave work because they have come into work then feel sick on the day and need to leave. At the moment there is only the option to record sickness for a day, 1/2 day or 1/4 day. Is is possible to record sickness in hours like a timesheet so we can record at what time they left during the day to the end of the day. And like a timesheet where we can add more, to exclude paying them for lunch breaks depending on what time of the day they left.

Can we please allow option to record sickness absence in hours? I think it's only fair where people are deducted sick leave exactly what they are absent for.

We have some employees with their entitlement to company sick pay calculated in hours which aligns with their holiday entitlement also being calculated in hours. At present we cannot record their sickness absence accurately as PeopleHR only records absence in days.
