Setting Tasks to Hide completed as the default when you access them

It would be useful if when you access Tasks the default screen shows only the outstanding tasks. Currently when you open the screen, you see all the completed tasks going back a number of years (which are now irrelevant) and to see what is outstanding you've to check the Hide Completed box, which is not immediately obvious.

Describe the Challenge I am trying to make the Task area easier to understand and not look like you have numerous tasks that need dealing with.

    agree completely, it's very inefficient to have to click to see outstanding tasks when the others have all been done. Makes no sense the way it is!

Tasks - change default to only show live tasks

When the Tasks field is opened it lists all tasks included completed ones from years ago and you have to tick the 'Hide completed' to show current ones. Can the default be changed so you have to tick the box to show 'Completed tasks'?
