I logged a support call a while back asking for this too and was told that gender is a required data item for HMRC. That's not correct, sex as shown on official documentation ie passport is the required data item, not gender. Please have separate fields for both as well as more options. One field is antiquated. Employees should be able to edit their own gender field,
