There are almost 2000 ideas in the system. It's great that you want feedback but there must be a better way to decide which to progress. There are ideas that need a period of development but there must be some quick wins in the list that could be fast-tracked? I agree with the idea from a year ago that suggested that if the digital assistant says it's a good idea then there should be a way to capture that information and progress it.
| Describe the Challenge | I think the ideas system is great in theory but cumbersome in practice. As far as I know there isn't a way of knowing which ideas are being progressed, which can't be developed for some reason and which have been added. Your users put a lot of time and effort into suggesting improvements and whilst it is not the main purpose of the system, it would make users happy to know they have helped introduce an improvement, or to at least know the outcome of their suggestion. |
I agree with this. When we were exploring new systems we were told it had so much better functionality and were promised it can do things that we have since discovered it cannot. I feel I'm constantly trying to find workarounds in the system and when raising things with support we're always told to put an idea forward but that it may or may not be implemented, and no indication of when this could be. Do we know how many votes an idea needs before it will actually be explored?
I completely agree, there needs to be a way of showing us what ideas are moving forward and the progress of them. There are ideas on here which have been here for yours with no update of feedback. Makes the whole process a bit pointless really if we aren't getting any updates!
Additionally there are multiple ideas that are essentially the same (I've just gone to add one and it already exists as 4/5 separate ideas). Are these being added together?
Also, as APAC customers we get a massively outdated version of the system compared to what the UK users get. It looks like all the new innovative developments are going to UK users while our version of the tool continues to be outdated.
