Reverse a 'Skip Performance Review' when employee returns

Currently a manager can 'Skip' a performance review if an employee is absent on maternity, sickness etc. Unfortunately the manager has no ability to reverse this 'skip' later when the employee returns during the appraisal period and complete the review
