Editing locked function in Queries to change/be removed

There is a setting within queries called ‘Editing locked’ whereby if a user ticks this box, the query they create is only editable by themselves.

This causes issues when that person leaves as the query could be entirely redundant, as we have in our case.

Only the creator can edit the query but there seems to be no way of finding out who that person is. This will cause issues in cases where the creator is now a Leaver.

Could this be amended so Admins/Access employees have access to edit/delete these queries or could this function be removed entirely?
