Logbook Signature Functionality Improvement (Application Only)

(Application Only)

We've found that when we have a logbook which requires both a managers signature and an employee's signature, the signature box becomes unresponsive after the manager has signed it.

For example, we have a return to work logbook which requires both manager and employee signature, after the manager signs it, the employee then goes into it and the signature button is provide but is unresponsive. After raising a ticket with Access support, the response was that it is correct functionality and for the employee to be able to sign it, they would need to click on the 3 dots, edit the logbook which then would give them access to sign it.

Although i understand this is a viable option, but in regards to functionality it seems unnecessary and over complicated.

I don't understand why a signature button is provided when its unresponsive or even grey'd out.

Case reference if more detail is require is 67229924

I would really like this functionality to be improved or a suggestion on how to improve our logbook/process if there is a more efficient way.

Describe the Challenge Over complicated way to sign a logbook if 2 signatures are required.
