Rehiring leavers process needs full overhaul - additional issues with ATS functionality

If we use the rehire process when re-employing a leaver, all previous information is pulled through and there's no segregation of their previous employment which is required for compliance. So the alternative is to add new employee - however I have to delete NI number and email address from the previous employment record. This work-around is annoying and causing more work than is necessary.

I have added a further issue that I have now come across: Example ex employee applies through ATS for a role. He's successful and we action the new starter process. We are informed that if we continue the previous record will be wiped - this isn't acceptable. We have to then cancel the process, go to the leaver record take out the email to go back in to the new starter process to action again. This is not best use of time or acceptable. I'm also having to delete the NI number because I know that leaving it in creates another issue further down the line. This all needs looking at as a matter of urgency.

We are often re-hiring on projects basis - it would be really helpful to be able to create bespoke folders in employee's documents that you could date for each employment term. Also annoying that it automatically includes previous holiday entitlement if re-hiring in the same year when that is always settled at the time of leaving.
