We need better filtering for restricting/targeting news to specific groups of people that are not covered in the current filters of Department/Location/Company

i agree, i have struggled sending out in the news communication area because of the restrictions on who you can send it to. when i last questionned this i was told if we upgrade to Ripple we can use restrictions/specifics more but it seems to me unfair, if you are going to give us an App that has a feature like news communications, it should be useable in its entirety and not limiting.
