The combined family leave row could remain in the planner (preferably being renamed to family leave). Once the pop up opens however, to record the dates; it would be beneficial to be able to select from a drop down the exact type of family leave. We could then create different ripples relating to our company policies on the various types.
Eventually, ideally, it could become a pattern within settings however to begin with, being able to apply different, specific ripples would improve communication and efficiency.
Describe the Challenge | Due to the greater length of time applied to our maternity leave, we send notifications to the line manager (reminding of their return, for example) atleast 6 weeks ahead of their end date. This means however that when someone has paternity leave, the line manager is being notified of their return well ahead of them even taking leave. There are also different forms of documentation, risk assessments and other processes relating to maternity leave that would not apply to paternity, shared or adoption leave. We need to be able to create ripples for each of these processes individually. |
