Amend the working days from which absence is calculated, or get them removed from employee's visibility

In an employee's personal tab, under the salary area, there is a 'Daily Cost of Absence' line and it gives a number based on the following calculation:

Salary divided by No. of working hours in current work pattern over 52 weeks

Our business does not work out the daily cost of an employee like this. We take the days remaining in the year and divide by that instead. When a person starts part way through the year, our calculation does not match that on PHR.

This is causing issues for us because when we have to deduct a day of salary due to unpaid leave taken etc. the cost of absence that an employee can see on their record does not match what they see on their paycheck.

We either need to be able to amend this calculation or have the ability to hide this figure from the employee.

Currently it is misleading.

Describe the Challenge Accuracy for the employee and ability for system to reflect the way the business works.
