PT worker holiday calculation based on days not the hours

at the moment PT holiday calculations takes into account hours worked per week. but if i have a PT employee who works 5 days a week 20 hours as opposed to 40 hours for FT employee, the PT employee will still be entitled to the same amount of holiday days as the FT employee but at lower daily rate. this is currently something that is calculated incorrectly as employee who works 20 hours over 5 days will be by default given half of the FT entitlement.

Describe the Challenge the holiday calculation is accurate.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for submitting your feedback!

We are pleased to announce that we have enhanced the Holiday Pro-Rata calculation within PeopleHR to ensure an accurate calculation for Part-Time Employees booking holiday in days.

Now, holiday entitlement will be pro-rated based on the employee's planned worked days (according to their working pattern) / weekly working days rather than hours worked per week / full-time hours.

    For example:
If an employee works Monday to Friday (5 days per week), 4 hours per day, they will receive the same amount of holiday days as a full-time employee working 8 hours per day

Also, we have updated the Holiday Entitlement Calculator to reflect the changes above.

    Best regards,
