Archive Job Titles from list

Following a full team restructure, which included job title changes for all existing staff to be aligned. We now have a long list of Job Titles which I cannot remove as a leaver is assigned the job title. I would have to go into every single leaver and remove their old job title in order to delete it from showing in the list. THere needs to be an option to archive old job titles.
