We have recently tested your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and appreciate the functionalities it currently offers, particularly the ability for candidates to upload their CVs and covering letters. However, we have identified some critical areas for improvement that are essential for the system to align with our policies and processes.

  1. Addition of Application Form and Personal Statement Feature: We require candidates to complete a standardised application form along with their personal statements outlining how they meet the criteria in the person specification. Currently, the system lacks the functionality to accommodate this need. We request that you add a feature that allows candidates to fill out an employer's application form and submit a personal statement. This would greatly streamline our application process.

  2. Anonymisation of Applicants: In our commitment to promoting diversity and reducing bias during the recruitment process, it is crucial to have the ability to anonymize applicant information. We request the addition of a feature that allows us to remove identifiable details from applications, such as names and addresses. This feature would help us in ensuring a fairer recruitment process and align with best practices in the industry.

While we recognise the potential value of your system, the lack of these critical features means that we are currently unable to utilise the ATS as it does not work in line with our policies and processes. We strongly urge you to consider these enhancements as they are vital to our operations and compliance with client requirements.

We would appreciate an update on whether these features can be incorporated and a possible timeline for their implementation. Your prompt attention to this matter will be highly valued and will determine our decision to adopt your ATS for our recruitment needs.

    Has this moved on any? With EDI being a big focus, we really need this.

    Anonymization should be a feature that is selected by HR, and so hiring managers can not see gender, names, age etc. EDI is a key focus for most organisations, and this is very behind.
