12 month rolling sickness

We would like to have the option of reflecting sickness days over a 12 month rolling basis rather than by calendar year which isn't usable in line with UK legislation or general best practise in the UK.

Describe the Challenge This would allow managers to reviewing rolling sickness absence over a 12 month period to better monitor and enable sickness actions with HR.

It is standard UK practice for staff to have entitlement to sick pay over a 12 month rolling period. I have staff with different sick pay entitlements (why make things easy, eh!) and every time someone is absent I have to check their personal entitlement, and then check how many of their past absences were fully paid, paid in part, or unpaid to calculate whether the current absence is to be paid or not. People HR just does not have the necessary functionality to track sick pay. Also, if you have any absence of multiple days you need to be able to record exactly how many days were paid and how many were not - saying 'paid in part' is not helpful. I don't know about anyone else but it means sick pay has to be tracked on a good old fashioned spreadsheet. I think this is one of the major failings of the system.

Would really like to see this implemented asap. Currently having to manage sickness % over a 12 month rolling period via other methods. Its a real pain and this enhancement would value so many customers. Surprised it is not already in to be honest.

This would be an extremely useful feature to enable.

Employees having visibility of their 12 month rolling absence will support HR and align it with the Company's policies and procedures relating to sickness absence. The information often provided in formal meeting invites does not correlate with the visual on their planner.

Would like an option so you can select how many periods of absence in the last X months (3 in 3, for example) would be highlighted or an alert set up on the 3rd absence.

I thought this was possible. We had a consultant from Access help us with this last week. now I'm worried it isn't right?!
