It would be great if there was a better way to handle data retention. The only current way is to manually deleted employees 1-1, thus losing history headcount data and very admin heavy. Resorting to extracting and anonymising data and then piecing together again with query data, for a fuller picture of headcount overtime. It would be great if Access/PHR has an (auto/manual) anonymisation feature that did this for customers.
Describe the Challenge | Data Retention Solution |
From GDPR's perspective employee data has to be deleted in different intervals. Some data needs to be deleted within a month of an employee leaving, some after 6 months, some in a year's time and some in two years time. It is not possible to delete individual data (giving reason each time) and repeating the action for other leavers. It is extremely admin heavy. It would be beneficial to have the option to bulk delete certain selected data at different intervals. In the world we are living where it time efficiency is given importance I am surprised that People HR does not have an option to bulk delete. I would be interested to know what other clients who have People HR account tackle this issue. This is an issue that needs immediate attention.
