Expiry date to trigger status change in new log books created

Currently when creating a new logbook, if we add an expiry date, when the date passes, it does not trigger to change the status of a course. Unfortunately the only way around this is to create a ripple reminder but this still won't change the status. This makes it time consuming when creating a query report to see what courses are expired, especially because they are on a new logbook and not the standard training one.
