As-at TODAY option for reports

We want to be able to report on current items without manually amending a specific date field each time.

We want the business to be able to pull latest data (especially current salaries excluding post dated ones) on the hotsheets without having to manually update the filter date field in all of the separate queries to ensure the data pulled is current as-at today.
