Is there any update on this please? The status shows "Added to product backlog" and a comment from Admin in March 2024 states this is being considered. Here I am 2 years later looking for the same implementation.
We would actually prefer to log our sickness in hours and specify the exact time an employee may have left due to sickness. Is this ever going to be implemented?
The system already has the options of 0.5 and 0.25 days of sickness absence and therefore 0.75 is a logical addition. This option is of particular importance when an employee is on a phased return following an extended sickness absence, which is not an unusual situation in HR/People management. The lack of this option means that employee sickness records are not correct, which defeats the purpose of having an HRIS!
