Change the date format on a vacancy to MM/DD when hiring in the US

Is it possible to change the closing date of a campaign to the regional format in the US, when the country vacancy is for the US.

Currently the default date is DD/MM/YYYY, but when we recruit in the US the date format is MM/DD/YYYY and by us using the UK format, it creates confusion for candidates.

If not, then please allow us to have the closing date in words rather than a numerical format.
