ATS Message when moving an Internal Applicant to Accepted

I find the messaged displayed when you attempt to move an internal applicant to 'Accepted' unclear and confusing and would like to see this updated

(change vacancy to internal only, move internal applicant to accepted, new starter wizard launches, you complete the new start date etc and then press save) message appears which states:

Current: Move to Accepted Stage

An employee with this email address already exists in the system. Moving this applicant into the accepted stage will overwrite the record of the employee already in the system. Do you want to continue? Yes/No.


I have been informed by the customer care team that this will only over overwrite the data which has been amended as part of the recruitment process, I find this message to be unclear and confusing. It would make more sense that the message states:

Suggested: Move to Accepted Stage

An employee with this email address already exists in the system. Moving this applicant into the accepted stage will update this employees record with new role information set out in the Vacancy from the start date provided. No history will be deleted.

Do you want to continue? Yes/No.
