Arrange employees in alphabetical order by Surname
Instead of arranging/listing employees by First Name, it may be better to arrange them by Surname, as some people have 'known as' names, or use their middle name etc.
the option to do either would be best solution. Sort by First Name or Surname and i agree to use Known As field as well as this would be most useful for us, but if all 3 an option to sort then works for companies however they want to view the data.
I would also like to be able to use their 'known as' name as the primary name that the system uses, as well as listing by surname would be much better. We have a few Liz and Lizzies, who appear under E for Elizabeth when pulled from PHR in queries.
The option to arrange the employee list by either forename or surname would be ideal as organisations differ on how they do this. The employee lists across our systems are all arranged by surname with good reason, but having introduced PeopleHR we have to manipulate the PHR data before we can perform any reporting or merging.
