Many thanks Paul. This is big improvement and a welcome change within the system. My only gripe, which I feel is a huge omission within this improvement, is that Job title hasn't been included in this change only Location, Department, Company, Reports to and Employment Type. Job title is probably the most changed field in the system due to promotions and its frustrating that we will need to continue having to put a reminder in our system/use tasks to remind us to update someone's job title the day before it becomes effective due to the effective date not working as the others do. Do you know if the effective date for the job title field is going to be changed some time soon? We have raised a separate ideas request within this portal for it. Many thanks
Sorry to jump in but I'm pretty sure this was released as a system improvement update release on Tuesday but when we identified the change hadn't taken effect they have pulled it for further testing. The announcement was in the release notice on Tuesday (along with the Dynamic screen change) but has now been removed due to it not working as planned.

Hi Claire and Duncan, we released the code for the effective dates on Tuesday but unfortunately it wasn't turned on until Wednesday which caused some confusion so apologies for that. The effective dates are turned on and working, you can find more information in this article https://accessgroup.my.site.com/Support/s/article/People-HR-Scheduling-changes-with-effective-dates.
Kind regards, Paul

Hi Paul, does this span across all areas that use 'effective dates' within the system do you know?
Regards Duncan
H Duncan, yes, this was released earlier this week
