Currently once a department name has been used you can't delete it. If we change a department name or remove it from the company we are left with an ever increasing list and also the potential for the wrong department to be used. If we could simple assign it as not in use that would prevent the issue and allow only active departments to be visible

Could some there be an archive option for departments or job titles no longer in use, to ensure the option lists are relevent and don't becme unmanageable
