Ultimately, we are looking for People HR to sync individual employees’ working patterns to Outlook with half days being reflective of the individuals contracted hours (ignoring any lunch breaks). This would be beneficial because not all employees work the same hours - and for our company the standard hours are 8:30 to 5, not the 9 to 5 that pulls through on the system.

It is critical for PHR to sync different working patterns with regard to holidays in particular for half days as this is causing us a lot of headaches in HR with many queries being made.
