We want to use the Holiday Sync function to support better diary managemnet. Despite the logs suggesting this will look 240 days into the future, we have been informed it will only work 60 days in the future which doesn't support effective diary management.

Absolutely agree - with staff looking to book holiday for Christmas and having to manage location specific public holidays, having this extended to 365 days at least would support employees and their managers have greater visibility. We have Company Planner open to all staff excluding sick so the ICAL option is not practical
I agree that the sync function needs to be extended to enable holiday bookings to easily sync with outlook
With the diary sync function limited to 60 days it is difficult to organise meetings/diary entries which often have to be made more then 60 days in advance without effectively checking in on two different diaries. This is time consuming and is leading to double bookings on occasion. The changes would make for far more effective diary management.
