I am so disappointed with this change to the add employee wizard. Payroll ID was previously generated and now not. ~Given that we went in with the full peoplehr paycircle integration so the process was add new starter Payroll id number generated and this directly flowed to paycircle same employee id as payroll id and now this is not the case and the response from digital assistant was "I understand your frustration - you're absolutely right that this creates an extra step in what should be a streamlined process. The Access Payroll integration is designed to automatically send new starters from PeopleHR to payroll, but the system change means the payroll ID field now requires manual input rather than auto-generation.You could potentially streamline this by using the bulk updater tool - set up multiple employees with their payroll IDs in one CSV file that includes the Payroll ID field, which might be more efficient than the wizard-then-update approach. This does add complexity to what was previously a seamless integration workflow."
Absolutely laughable and so right it is frustrating
